Our life is not a one dimensional experience as we all know. It is also not a one size fits all experience. There are many aspects to our life. As a Board Certified Holistic Nurse, I have been trained to understand that we need to view ourselves and our clients from a Holistic Perspective. This means that we understand that a person is made up of many components that interact with one another. Examples of this are: our Mind, Body and Spirit and how these aspects interact.
In the model created by the National Institute of Whole Health(tm), there are 5 aspects we begin to look at from a whole health perspective. The 5 Aspects of Whole Health(tm) are: Emotional, Environmental, Physical, Nutritional, and Spiritual. A goal for a healthy life is to balance all these aspects.
I interweave both Holistic Nursing Philosophy along with Whole Health Education (TM) so that you have a comprehensive understanding of how these many aspects contribute to either your health or dis-ease.
Within each aspect are components that can be reviewed and brought to light. As we review these components we are able to see how they are all related to our health and wellbeing. A quick example might be that if we are eating nutritional food but are very stressed, our body is unable to absorb those wonderful nutrients. If we are emotionally distraught, there is an affect on our body, our nutrition, and even our spiritual aspect just to name a few.
As a Whole Health Educator (TM) and a Board Certified Holistic Nurse, I am able to share and demystify information so that it is understandable and relatable to you. I can assist you in seeing the interrelationship between your Mind, Body, and Soul. Your Nutrition, your Emotions, your Physical aspects of your being, your Spiritual and your environmental aspects of your life. We can utilize this approach to review any dis-eases you are experiencing and enable you to make choices in your care that serves YOU most.
I look forward to hearing from you and sharing your journey to a greater health and wellness life!
